Intermountain was founded by Methodists in 1917 as a boarding school. Today, it serves children, youth, and families to provide hope and healing to children and youth. When families need help with the complex emotional challenges children and teens sometimes face, Intermountain offers innovative treatment developed from years of experience. Our caring professionals rely on our nationally recognized relationship-based approach and client-centered treatment solutions to meet the individual needs of each child and family and help them heal. In recent years, it has opened a therapeutic treatment facility in Flathead Valley and has an increasing presence in the Billings and Bozeman areas.

Executive Summary
The CEO is accountable to the Board of Directors comprised of civic and community leaders. Board authority is based upon the Policy Governance (formerly Carver) Model.

The CEO needs the capacity to think strategically at a high level, to convert that thinking into action, and communicate in a way that secures the enthusiastic engagement of stakeholders, board, staff, and families. He or she will develop and implement strategies, operational plans and tactics to achieve results; identify, develop and pursue new programs/services and business opportunities along with the senior team; act as the principal steward of the organization’s resources; and foster a high-performing team of professionals, staff and volunteers.

Applicants need experience in fundraising, community relations, personnel management, fiscal management and administration. Also need experience in working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team addressing complex clinical issues, relations with governmental agencies, the legislative process and demonstrated personal integrity.

Salary/Benefits
Salary for the Chief Executive Officer position is competitive and commensurate with
experience and other qualifications. Intermountain provides access to employee health
